The Royal Refinement of Fiona Cairns’ Cakes
Fiona Cairns has been baking for well over 30 years, yet the transformation of commonplace ingredients into extraordinary creations still feels like an act of alchemy to her. And, the world agrees that her confections are magic! Her incredible cakes are famous, especially since she made the cake for Prince William’s wedding. At her bakery, deep in the English countryside they take the time to mix, bake, ice, embellish and pack every single cake entirely by hand. We love Fiona’s lavish, classic wedding cakes. And we love her philosophy that, “Cake is what is served on the happiest days of your life.”
